Jabot
A jabot is a decorative frill of lace or fabric falling from the neck down the front of a shirt or blouse.
The jabot replaced the cravat for some men in the eighteenth century as a cascade of lace or linen at the shirt front. It survives in legal and court dress and in women’s blouses.
