Tatting
Tatting is a lace made of rings and chains of knots, worked with a small shuttle or a needle.
Tatting is built from double stitches, really pairs of half-hitch knots, slid along a core thread to form rings and arcs, with tiny loops called picots joining them. It makes strong, delicate edgings and doilies.
